Business problem:
2022 is the third year of the Best Foods x Vodafone Warriors sponsorship following two years of highly disruptive seasons as a result of the pandemic.
To celebrate the return of the team to their home ground we created an emotive content piece... with the added challenge that we had no access to the players as they were still Australian based.
Our solution:
We brought to life kids’ dreams and aspirations of playing for the Warriors in a series of emotive paralleled shots, which were then brought together in a climactic moment when a young player’s dreams are realised and reflected in a Warrior’s parallel universe.
The content/script also focused on the whole community from the parents, coaches and friends and whanau that make sport possible underpinning the sentiment that Best Foods brings out the best of us.
The hero content was launched on the big screen at the Vodafone Warriors first home game in New Zealand after being away for over 1000 days to a packed-out Mt Smart stadium of 23,000 crazy fans!
We then rolled this content out across all owned and partners social media platforms.
